Are you a Shadar, or do you know someone a Shadar and want to get support from the charity organizations in Montreal?
As of July 1, 2017, in order to receive any Charity Distribution from The Montreal Organization, all Shadarim & Meshilachim, are to be credentialed and certified via “The Shadar Center.”
Original certificates will be issued by The Shadar Center, with an expiration date, to ascertain authenticity and accuracy of their eligibility status as per the Canadian government’s newly enforced requirements.
Accordingly, certification from The Shadar Center will enable the beneficiaries to receive faster help when needed, and the Montreal charity organizations to continue the mission of help better than ever before.
The process is simple and efficient. Any agency, institution, or individual in need who is to benefit from any charity organization in Montreal, must apply for such Certification from The Shadar Center. After due diligence based on the applicant’s unique factors, and after paying the surcharge, the Center will issue a Certificate, effective for 1 year. Presenting the Certificate to the affiliated Charity Organizations would activate the beneficiary’s privilege to the Organizations charitable activities.
Therefore, If you know from a Shadar who wants to come to our city in the future to gather charity, and get support from charity funds here, please inform him to call our office first, & apply with all regulations, otherwise, the Charities will not give him any support.
Individuals:
An Individual who would like to receive charity assistance from a Canadian charity, must submit an application thru Shadar to the Charity organizations, along with personal identification and legal documents that prove that the individual is eligible for Charity (Tax return, welfare, etc.). According to the documented information you will receive a certificate with a maximum amount that you are eligible to receive for the next 12 months from all Charity organizations who are affiliated with The Shadar Center.
Scholarship:
To register students in any Scholarship programs from the Canadian Charities, the school must select 1 of the affiliated Charity organizations according to their unique criteria, submit the Students applications thru Shadar to the chosen Charity organization. The School will receive a certificate with a maximum amount that the school is eligible to receive Scholarship for the next 12 months from the chosen Charity. The school will need to proof that they have applied the funds to the approved students.
Organizations:
All out of country organizations who would like to get help from the Canadian charities Must enroll as an official representative of a Canadian Charity acting as an agent for the chosen charity, by signing an Agency agreement provided by the Shadar Center. The out of country organization needs to proof the charitable activities. According to the amount proven to the organization, you will receive a certificate with a maximum amount that the organization is eligible to receive for the next 12 months from the chosen Charity.
